The Vintage is the choice of an exceptional year of which only a selection of the Grands Crus of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir will enter into the composition of a future iteration of Grand Siècle. A rare and exceptional wine that expresses the character of a year in the style of Laurent-Perrier.
 
The 2012 viticultural year was complicated with winter then spring frosts, hail and cryptogamic diseases, which had an impact on yields, which were rather moderate. 
The dry, sunny summer allowed exceptional ripening of the grapes, which were harvested in perfect sanitary condition.
